Last Saturday the 10th of November I had the pleasure of being involved in the Crace Recreation Park Launch & Community Cricket Match. It was a wonderful morning at the Crace Recreation Park, officially opened by Senator Kate Lundy the facilities are one of a kind in Canberra.
Then it was down to the business end of the morning, the Community Cricket Match! Michael Bevan and Dean Jones were the two team captains, with local Canberrans, sporting starts and local media personalities in each team. I am very proud to say that the team I played with, captained by Michael Bevan won!
A big thank you Morris Walker (Canberra’s oldest and most established public relations and events agency) for their amazing job organising the event, it was a fantastic day I am grateful to have been involved in the day!
